Karen Gertzen

Karen GertzenKaren moved to the Cariboo in 1983 with her family. She quickly became involved with minor hockey, ballet, soccer and all the other activities available to families in Williams Lake. She left behind 10 years in the banking industry and several years as a professional dancer/instructor in Alberta.

Karen and her husband Rick enjoy golfing, fun-ball, skiing, camping, and most of all, traveling on Rick's Harley Davidson throughout the Cariboo. They have three children, four grandchildren, and love spending time with their extended families.

After managing the local Windsor Plywood store for 10 years she obtained her Real Estate license in 1993 and has subsequently completed her Real Estate Agency in 1996, Property management course, certified Mortgage Brokers license, and is now licensed as the Managing Broker of Cariboo Team Realty.

Karen offers several years of Real Estate experience and like the rest of our team, makes an extra effort to ensure our Clients are well represented and can enjoy the full Cariboo Team Realty experience!

Court Smith

Court SmithBorn and raised in Williams Lake, Court brings with him unsurpassed knowledge of local history and an understanding for the Cariboo/Chilcotin region.

Respected by his peers for his integrity and professionalism, Court has been appraising real estate in the Cariboo since 1980. Court's expertise and attention to detail will help protect and guide you through the many aspects of your real estate sale or purchase.

Court is strongly committed to supporting his community and has been the President of the British Columbia Rodeo Association since 2002, and a volunteer for the Williams Lake Stampede Association for over 10 years. Courtney has a great passion for country living, ranching, and rodeo lifestyle.

Court is a strong competitor in the team roping event and a great comrade to his friends. He is known to travel far and wide, through sleet and heat to get his daughters and Pauline to their barrel racing competitions.

Pauline Colgate

Pauline ColgateA life long Cariboo resident, Pauline brings with her an understanding of the diversity of the region. She was a massage therapist and personal trainer for 5 years prior to acquiring her Real Estate License in 2006.

Pauline has enjoyed a successful experience with the Williams Lake real estate market, including a proven track record in sales. Pauline artfully balances her career with her active family-enjoying the camaraderie of her teenage sons, Colton and Zack, step-daughters Ellis and Madison, and of course partner Court Smith.

She has a passion for personal fitness and running, participating in the Dave Jacobs run and has run the Times Globe & Mail 10 K run in Victoria. Pauling was also the Athletic Trainer for the Williams Lake Timberwolves Junior A hockey team for 4 seasons.

A cowgirl at heart, Pauline actively participates in the BC Rodeo Association and BC Barrel Racing Association in the ladies barrel racing event, and has been a volunteer on horse back for the Williams Lake Stampede for 6 years.

Becky Waterhouse

Becky WaterhouseBorn and raised in the Cariboo, Becky has a good understanding of the area, and its diversity. She has many years of customer service behind her after working at Beaver Valley Feeds for 8 years with her extended family, and opening Cozy Paws Kennel with her mom Terry. She then decided to go back to school and earn her Real Estate License, to continue working with the public.

Becky successfully balances her career with her husband Keith and their children Hailey and Ty. She enjoys spending time outdoors camping with family or barrel racing with friends. Becky grew up in the rodeo arena competing in the Chilcotin Rodeo Assoc, BC Barrel Racing Assoc, and High School Rodeo Assoc.
