Spring Market

The spring market is coming - slowly!! It is amazing the impact the weather (at this time of year) has on motivation. Since the first of January we have seen the weather go up and down, several times. As the weather starts to improve we see an increase in the number of inquiries - from both buyers and sellers. When the heavy snow hit about the second week in January, things got quite quiet.

As we inch our way slowly to the warmer weather we are certainly seeing more interest, especially from buyers. Our inventory is quite limited right now and buyers are a bit frustrated with the lack of selection. Property prices are seeming to be holding and the most recent market transactions indicated that if properties are priced right they generally don't take long to sell. Now is a great time to list if you are thinking of selling. Take the advise of your realtor with regard to pricing and you should expect things to happen quickly.
